Let's Start Again
It's a new year and everyone feels the urge to start over and do things differently this time!  God has made you perfect just as you are but you are sure that now is the time to change everything about you that you are not happy with starting with your body!  It is time to shed those extra pounds and eat healthy.  It's time to set new goals and you are determined to see them through, this time.  What is it about January first that makes us believe that  if we are ever going to do it it has to be now?  Let's realize that there really is no time like the present.  This is your moment and it does not need the fanfare of a brand new year to be special for you.  You have what it takes to change your life, we all do.  We tend to run out of steam about six weeks into our passion, just because it happens that way.  All of us need encouragement and a push in the right direction from time to time.
Who can do the pushing for you?  Most of the time you are out there on your own, good intentions and determination are inside jobs.  No one else can motivate you but others can hold you accountable if you ask them to and give you a suggestion, a word of encouragement, or an incentive to keep your dream alive and well.  Share your passion with someone who will help you do that thing you have decided you really want to do.  Do it now!

Procrastination is the enemy of us all.  Truly, half the battle is just beginning!  Pick one thing that you can do, today.  Accomplish one task today that will give you that satisfying feeling of one less thing waiting to be done.  You will feel empowered to go on to the next task.

Unwavering belief is a belief so strong that it stands up against challenges.  Sometimes other people, believing they are being helpful, will try to persuade us to be realistic, meaning we shouldn't aim too high.  Successful people keep their goals high and their expectations inline.  Successful people are practical dreamers, with dreams they figure out how to make come true.

M. Scott Peck said, "The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled.  For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers."
